The client runs a charity that honours the memory of a sunken cargo ship, MV River Gurara. They work to provide grants to maritime charity organisations and support serving and ex-serving seafarers and their dependants.
It was important that the site is easy to navigate especially for their target clients, sponsors and partner organisations. Privacy protections and security features are also used to protect the users' data as best as possible.
I decided that WordPress with a suitable premium theme would speed up project delivery while providing the client with a reliable CMS for self-management.
The teal and blue colour scheme was chosen in order to imitate the colours of the sea.
